Create an account and send your first message
Create the account
- Open the sign-up page and enter your age in Your age.
- Choose Continue with Google or Continue with GitHub, or enter the email address you want the account under and press Continue.
- If you used email, enter the code sent to that address. If the code has not arrived, check the spam folder before requesting another.
- If a Create a password screen follows, choose the password you will use with that address to log in.
The sign-up form asks for your age in a field labelled "Your age". You must be at least 13 to create an account, and if you are under 18 you need permission from a parent or guardian. The age is checked in your browser and is not stored or sent to us. There is no terms checkbox: under the button the form states "By creating an account, you agree to the Terms of Use and acknowledge the Privacy Policy." One optional box, "Email me product news, tips and offers.", starts unticked.
When a provider button on the sign-in page, such as Continue with Google, creates a new account, the account's first screen asks for your age and for you to accept the terms, and the account cannot be used until the terms are ticked and an eligible age is entered. The code always comes before the password: the sign-up page asks for a password only after the code proves the address is yours. The password screen states its rule before you type: use at least 8 characters, and a password that is easy to guess or found in a data breach is refused.
What you can do immediately
The Free plan is open by default. A new account can open the chat surface and send a message straight away: it has no waitlist and no invite code to redeem. A self-serve paid plan starts at checkout when paid upgrades are open to your account; while they are not, it needs an access code, and without one you join the upgrade waitlist.
Send the first message
Open the chat surface, type into the composer, and press Enter. The composer placeholder reads "Ask anything. Type / for commands". Below the composer the model selector shows which model will answer; leaving it on Auto lets AGI pick a model for each message from the ones your plan and trust mode allow.
If sign-up does not complete
- "No account uses this email. Sign up instead." on a sign-in screen means the address has never been registered. Sign up rather than resetting a password.
- "This email already has an account. Log in instead." on the sign-up screen means the address is registered already. Log in with it rather than signing up again.
- A refused password keeps you on the password screen with the reason under the field. A password refused as too weak also lists suggestions for a stronger one.
- A sign-up that needs a detail the screen cannot collect ends with a message that starts "This sign-up also needs" and tells you to contact support. Email contact@agiworkforce.com to finish creating the account.
