Share a conversation or an artifact
Create a share link
Open the conversation's menu and choose Share conversation. Pick how long the link lasts, 1 day, 7 days or 30 days, then choose Create public link. Anyone with the link can read the snapshot without signing in.
If you belong to a workspace, Who can open this can then limit the link to members of your workspace, or open it to anyone with the link again.
Once the link exists the dialog confirms the audience: "Anyone with the link can open this now", or "Only your workspace can open this now". Copy it from the dialog, or open the link to check what a reader sees.
Change or revoke a link
Choosing Share again on a chat that is already shared shows its link, with Copy, Update link and Revoke share, instead of offering a second link. Messages you add after sharing are not added to the link until you update it. Update link replaces the snapshot with the chat as it is now, and the address does not change. It asks first, naming how many messages it adds and who can read them, because the snapshot it replaces cannot be restored.
Switching the audience after the fact asks first, naming the change: "Make this readable by anyone with the link?" or "Limit this to your workspace?". Revoke share removes access, and the confirmation says that anyone using the link will immediately lose access. A chat shared more than once revokes all of its live links together, and the confirmation says how many stop working, or, when the dialog could not check for older links, that every live link to the chat stops working. A revoked or expired link opens as a page that does not exist.
Find every link you have created
Settings, Shared links lists the links created from web conversations, with the ones marked Workspace only distinguished from public ones, and revokes any of them. Published artifacts have their own list in Settings with an Unpublish artifact action.
Export instead of sharing
The conversation menu also exports. From the Library, an artifact exports as PDF or Word. There is no spreadsheet export on web, so no xlsx option is offered rather than one that would fail after you picked it.
Chats you cannot share
A temporary chat cannot be shared while the control is on, because it is never saved. Turn temporary chat off first.
