The run tells you what it will do before it does it.
A mode of the box you already type in
Chat and AGI Work are two positions of one segmented control. Switching it reveals a project scope chip, and opening scope from there adds two optional fields, constraints and deliverable.
The plan lands before the first tool call
AGI Work asks the model for three to six concrete steps and shows them before any tool runs. The first step is marked in progress as the run starts; the rest settle when it ends. A planning turn that comes back unreadable leaves the run with no plan rather than stopping it.
A call you have not cleared stops the run
The run switches to awaiting input and shows the tool name with the arguments it wants to send. Approve, deny, or attach guidance.
Every run wears one of these labels in the task list.
- QueuedThe run exists before the model has done anything with it. Stop already works.
- PlanningWriting the plan for a goal before any tool runs.
- RunningWorking through the plan; an open run re-reads its own journal every few seconds.
- Waiting for inputBlocked on you: a connector asked for a field before it can continue.
- Waiting for approvalBlocked on you: a tool call needs your approval before it runs.
- PausedYou pressed Pause. The run stops after the step it is on, keeps its work, and Resume continues from there.
- ResumingPicking a paused run back up from the step where it stopped.
- Ready for reviewThe last state the agent loop emits: the journal is complete and any files are attached.
- CompletedSettled, and nothing further will ever be appended to it.
- Partially completedUsed every step it was allowed. The work so far is kept, and the rest is not done.
- FailedStopped on an error, and the activity list shows the step it stopped on.
- Timed outRan out of time before it finished; what it produced is kept.

On a plan without the capability the control never renders, so nothing breaks at send time. AGI Work runs on AGI Managed Cloud, so runs can fail or stall, and behaviour may change.
